King Harold Business Venture

King Harold students took part in the Youth Traders Market on Saturday 8th July in Epping High Street.  They came up with an idea of a business venture called Soap’s and Scrub’d to package and sell handmade soaps, bath bombs and greeting cards.  All the products were designed by our Year 9 and 10 students who worked after school in preparation for the market.

Jaci Hammond, Head of Careers said it was a fantastic opportunity for our students to work at a real life market and sell their products to the local community of Epping Forest.

Jodie Robins, Head of Business Studies commented that initially our students were nervous interacting with the public, but during the day their confidence grew and they showed excellent business acumen.

Well done to all our budding entrepreneurs at King Harold Academy.
