KING'S STRINGS PERFORM IN WALTHAM ABBEY TOWN CENTRE

Waltham Abbey Town Centre was alive with the sound of the King’s Strings on Tuesday 18th July when 17 students sang, and played ukulele and guitar from 9.30-1pm to raise funds for new music equipment. The students, Mr Speller and Mrs Russell raised a huge £231.31 and received so much support from parents and members of the local community. Thanks go to Annie’s Coffee Shop for allowing us to perform outside and use their electricity to plug in our microphone. It was such a lovely day and the perfect end to a successful year of musical performances by King Harold students.
