King Harold Year 9 CV Writing Workshop

King Harold Year 9 CV Writing Workshop

King Harold  were delighted this week to invite employers to come into school and work with their Year 9 students.  The employers offered advice and guidance on how to design and produce a professional CV.  As our students approach Year 10 this will help prepare them for work experience in 2018.  Students were able to chat to the employers and find out about the job market and the skills that employers look for when recruiting young people.

We were fortunate to have a wide range of businesses from Accountants, Property Management, Education and Training as well as support from the Army, Epping Forest College, DWP, Loughton and Chigwell Rotary Club and the Essex Boys and Girls Clubs.

Jaci Hammond, Head of Careers said it was a fantastic opportunity for our students to meet with business people and begin to explore the world of work.

Well done Year 9’s and a big thank to our business community.
