Students return from week-long skiing trip

A 34-strong party from King Harold Academy has returned from a week-long skiing trip to Andorra.

The trip involved five days of ski lessons with a range of evening activities including bowling, ice skating and a pizza party.

Head of Year Eleana Clark said: "The majority of students had never been skiing before so the whole experience was completely new to them.

"The week was a huge success with students overcoming their fears and learning a new skill. Most of the students were away from home for the first time.

"Our students were brilliant and as we left the hotel another visitor spoke to one of our teachers saying ‘as staff, we're clearly doing something right, as the behaviour of our students is fantastic’.

"This was a real highlight for our school."
