Netball weekend

Twenty-eight King Harold Academy students visited PGL Liddington for a netball weekend.
They played in a tournament with up to ten others schools per year group.

The students came on leap and bounds with their netball and each student progressed and developed their knowledge of the sport as well as improved their performance.

There was the opportunity for students to take part in a range of high rope activities such as giant swing, zip wire, abseiling, rock climbing and trapeze.

On the last day Year 10 students were awarded ‘Umpires' Team of the Tournament’.

Staff member Eleana Clark, who organised and ran the weekend, said: "This was a huge award and all of our students were well deserving of this as there were 30 other teams in the running.

"The award was given for Positive Attitude, Sportsmanship, Being Respectful and for the most improved team.

"Overall the weekend was a huge success and we will hopefully running it again next year, for the third successive year."
