Trip to Frinton-on-Sea

On the 5th and 6th July, 60 Year 10 Geography pupils from King Harold Academy completed an investigation into the direction of longshore drift at Frinton-on-Sea. They put their theories to the test whilst completing numerous measurements along the coastline in preparation for their GCSE exam next year. Their successful investigation saw them measuring the direction of longshore drift, measuring sediment deposition by groynes and assessing the effectiveness of coastal management by interviewing members of the public.
