Students experience mock job interviews

Year 11 students at King Harold Academy attended a mock job interview when they came face-to-face with representatives from local employers.

Students arrived at school in business dress looking professional, a little bit nervous - but ready to meet business representatives.

To prepare for their interview each student had completed a letter of application and CV and taken part in a 15-minute mock interview.

Head of Careers Jaci Hammond said: "This was an excellent opportunity to prepare our students for real-life interviews, especially as many will apply for colleges and sixth forms, as well as apprenticeships and part-time jobs next year.

"A big thank you to our local business community, and well done to the Year 11 students."
